Wine Shipping

Expedited Shipping Restrictions:

Any order placed with expedited shipping after 8:00 am PST will ship out the next business day (Monday through Friday).

Adult Signature Required:

You must be at least 21 years of age to order wine, and all orders containing alcoholic beverages require an adult signature upon delivery. For this reason, we strongly encourage you to provide us with a commercial address for delivery of your wine purchases whenever possible.

Multiple Delivery Attempts:

If no one is available to receive your package, two subsequent attempts to deliver will be made. If delivery still cannot be made, your order will be returned to us. Please contact customer service at onlinesales@drycreekvineyard.com to have your order reshipped. A small fee will be charged to the card on file to reship returned packages.

Return Policy:

Your satisfaction is our priority. We will replace or refund any bottle of wine purchased directly from Dry Creek Vineyard that is damaged or flawed within 30 days of purchase. Shipping Map

Each state has their own distinct laws when it comes to wine shipping. Believe it or not, there are some states that don’t allow any wine shipments at all! Please choose your state on the map below to learn about your individual state shipping requirements.

Sorry, but at this time we are unable to ship to Alaska, Arkansas, Mississippi and Utah.

Three Tier Shipping

Indiana and New Jersey have highly regulated laws. Orders to these states must be shipped through a licensee and will require additional transit time. All orders must ship via UPS Ground.

Your order will ship out on Friday afternoon and most likely arrive at a retailer in your state on the following Friday. Once the package arrives at the retailer, the tracking number will be scanned and you should receive your order within 2 to 3 business days. Shipments going to your state can take as long as 3 weeks for delivery from order date.

Please note: You will receive a tracking number, but it will not be valid until the packages arrives at the retailer. Unfortunately, we are not able to ship wines any other way. If you have an address outside of your state you would like to send your wines to, please call us at (800) 864-9463 ext. 280.

Temperature-Controlled Shipping

To ensure your wines arrive in the best condition, we will be shipping your wines via temperature-controlled truck in certain states. If you would like to know if shipments are being sent temp control in your state, please call (707) 433-1000 ext. 280.

Your order will ship on a temperature-controlled truck to a UPS hub. Once your wine reaches the hub, ice packs will be placed inside the box if temperatures are warm. You will receive a tracking number as soon as the order ships. However, the tracking number will not be valid until the package reaches the hub.

Temperature-controlled trucks leave once a week on Friday. Orders must be placed by 10 a.m. on Thursday to be shipped on that week’s truck. Orders received after 10 a.m. on Thursday will ship the following week. Your order should reach its destination hub 8 to 10 days later, at which point your tracking number will become valid. You should receive your order 2 to 3 business days after it reaches the hub.

We encourage you to trace your tracking number as soon as you are able to ensure that you will be available on the first delivery attempt. If you would like to have your order redirected to a business address or a UPS Store, please let us know as soon as possible.

Arizona Residents:

To ensure your wines arrive in the best condition, we will be shipping your wines via temperature-controlled truck. Your order is shipping to a company named “Wines 2 U” in Tempe, AZ, and they will deliver your wines.

These trucks leave once a week on Friday. Your order should reach Wines 2 U no later than Tuesday. As soon as Wines 2 U receives your order, they will call you to set-up a delivery date.
