Dry Creek Vineyard is located in the heart of Dry
Creek Valley, Sonoma County. Founded in 1972 by
David Stare, the first new winery built in Dry Creek
Valley following Prohibition. The winery has a long
track record of producing some of California’s
finest Fumé Blancs and Zinfandels. In addition to
these “flagships,” Dry Creek Vineyard is also known
for excellent Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot,
Cabernet Sauvignon, Meritage and, starting with the
1997 vintage, Endeavour Cabernet. Dry Creek Vineyard
owns over 185 acres of vineyard land, primarily in
the Dry Creek and the Russian River Valleys.
We invite you to visit our family winery and
experience the beauty of the Dry Creek Valley! Our

"Sonoma
Wine: One Day Tasting Tour"
November, 2011
“Especially at this time of
year–that is, harvest time–Sonoma County, California, is known predominantly for
its wine. But especially in the northern part of the county, near the city of
Healdsburg, there are plenty of other attractions. Our itinerary includes the
best of the best: food, outdoor adventure, and, of course, wine. Follow our lead
to satisfy all your senses.
Tasting at Dry Creek Vineyard
Owned by the same family
since 1972, Dry Creek Vineyard was the first new winery in the Dry Creek
Valley following prohibition. Today, in addition to a broad portfolio of
wines, the place also boasts the best picnic garden in town.
Tip: Ask to try the
special Cuvée, which Dry Creek makes exclusively to be served at the
annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® show.”
June 2012
Dry Creek Vineyard
“This is one of the valley’s original wineries and
one of the best to visit. It’s been 40 years
since Dave Stare built Dry Creek Vineyard, when it
became the valley’s first new winery construction
since Prohibition. The ivy-covered stone structure
recalls a country chapel and is framed by tall shade
trees and a lush lawn where picnickers gather daily.
“The tasting room is a relaxed spot to sample the fine
lineup of wines, ranging from excellent values such
as Chenin Blanc and the Heritage Zinfandel to the
winery’s impressive Cabernet blend called The
Mariner.”
"Dry Creek Vineyard"
June, 2012
“...Dedicated to producing
wines that put quality over price, Dry Creek Vineyard offers a portfolio of
distinguished wines. With the belief that great wines begin in the vineyard,
grapes are sourced from the vineyards that best express the stylistic qualities
of each variety. Attractively priced, Dry Creek Vineyard wines enjoy wide
distribution across the United States.
To thoroughly appreciate Dry Creek Vineyard, one really must visit.
There’s an ambience that pervades throughout the grounds and tasting
room that makes guests feel like part of the family. The staff is
particularly engaging and helpful. Guests can pre-arrange private
tastings and tours by calling, or making a reservation online. The
lovely garden picnic area is strewn with picnic tables, inviting guests
to linger and savor everything there is to love about Dry Creek
Vineyard..."
